Next: who will skipper the Sox in '04? I'm hearing rumbles of Bobby Valentine... actually, I didn't think Little was that bad, despite the Zimmer-like tendency to misjudge the staying power of his starters. He did hold some very disparate personalities together, and given his relief pitching, one can hardly fault him being over optimistic over the starters. Odd thing that the bullpen rose to the challenge in the playoffs, after being scary-bad at times during the season. Tom |
