Several groups I use quite a lot for business all top post,
and I prefer it. If there's a stack of conversation on a message, a
reader
doesn't need to scroll down to see a bottom post, and if you are reading
a number of postings in a thread, you don't need to
scroll down past the same stuff over and over.
