We've signed up for a bunch of "Wine Clubs", some of which
I like and some of which I'd just as soon she cancelled.
We get Ridge (woo hoo !!), Ferrari-Carrano (OK), Hop Kiln (OK),
Bonny Doon (I swear if those crazy mother****ers ever send us
another bottle of Bouteille Call I'll cancel it myself, wife
be damned ;-), and Wine Garage (my fave). Living here in corn
country it's nice to get California wines in the mail every so
often but we're not sophisticated oenophiles, just winos. ;-)

Ken,
you should take the wine tours out in the Napa Wine Country, they're
outstanding if you're a connoisseur of fine wines.
One year, one of the host at one of the Wineries got sick, so the gal in
our party took over. They let her have at it, she was filling our glasses
with the expensive cabs...pretty wild.

Every year we head down to the Paso Robles Great Western Bike Rally
at the end of May (Memorial Day Weekend). Lots of wine tours,
and then make your way to Cambria on the coast for the famous
ollieberry pie at Linn's bakery. One of the best in the world!
Quite a few bead and breakfast there as well.
enjoy,
