Those border droids weren't itchin' or twitchin', they were
just dumber than dirt. And I don't see how leaving $100 worth
of my property at the border is *lucky*, especially since I
knew damn good and well that it was legal for me to bring it
into Canada.

I learned my lesson. Anymore I hide my bear spray in the bottom
of the bottom-most pack in the back of the station wagon and then
lie through my teeth. I don't recommend it, but it works for me.
