Default OT Stolen from Rec.Backcountry

as you know, i much prefer the "less traveled" spots far from the
madding crowds. i'm sure the au sable is magnificent, but if it's like
all the other "famous" waters i've seen, i'll pass. i really liked
those u.p. venues and streams, and it seemed like the critter ratio was
just right up there. that's my vote anyway... but, i'm open-minded and
tolerant. oh yeah, september would be the month for me. may is penns,
july out west, september is open, october is graham county. can't change
the rhythm of the woild... so much for the advice, but i look forward to
meeting jay one of these days.

Wayne and Bill have been talking about a Troll clave (you know.....the lower
peninsula.....BELOW the bridge.....the big mac) on the holy waters sometime
this coming season. If I was in the business of giving advice, and you of
taking it, I'd suggest we get together on the notion of exploring this
possibility. The Au Sable, so I'm told, is big enough to float a Baker AND
it holds trout!
