I have an Evinrude Ficht fuel injected 150hp outboard that keeps giving
false check engine warnings. It is saying I have water in the gas. I have had it in the shop twice and both times there was no water in the fuel. I had the sensor in the outboard replaced. Anybody got any ideas? It is really annoying to have the check engine warning keep going off while you are fishing. -----------------Rich Davis |

I hope your not sucking it through a gasket. Maybe you should do a
compression test and look for a low one. I think the sensor is in the exhaust usually, isn't it? I'm not sure. Rich P "Rich & Joan Davis" wrote in message ...
