Yesterday I could not figure out where the hell I put the tan Superfine
dubbing that I needed to tie some Klod Hoppers and it is only about a 10 minute drive down to the bait chunker store that has some dubbing, so off I went in the pickup. After I left the shop, I drove past a couple of lakes in a little city park and remembered that the 7.5 foot 3 weight Temple Fork rod was behind the seat of the truck. Twenty minutes and a half dozen bluegill later, I stuck the Green Weenie in the sun visor next to the button from Sun Studios to dry. Should not take long in the black truck.I had a grin on my face as Hendrix was singing Foxy Lady on the classic rock station as I turned on the air conditioning and headed home. I wonder if Roger Daltry's wife still gets a grin on her face when she remembers that she inspired Hendrix to write that song back in the 60's. It is hard to realize that the temperature is already in the 90's in April. It could be a hot one this summer in the Dallas area. Big Dale |
