no trip charlie and jeff

again my big plans to hike down to Hazel creek from the AT have been
mythomaniac---my damm right heel is somehow
inflamed and i can hardly walk withour pain. Had a ex ranger all lined up
to carry our big pack with the three of us just carrying neccesseries but
now doctor says only way to heal my heel is to ice and rest for a couple of
weeks!!!

Just in the middle of tennis league after suffering play in cold and wind
for five weeks i get to sit out most of sunny warn spring seasonl .

Charlie -when are you camping with dog--are you and fontenberry getting
together?

Made a small punch in error yesterday when i posted questions about flies
for penns clave--i copied message to FF@ news group and Dave Lewis [ their
fontenberry;] wanted to know why i would post about fish in Penn who did
not appear for another month etc-----i apoligized for the miss posting but
suggested the guys might enjoy reading something about fishing on their fly
fishing news group rather than his discussion of camera and cats -- might
need help from wolfgang

if you guys from western clave want to know more about the area we
traversed whil looking for a spare tire for willie you might enjoy a new
book by Lowell Dingus--Hell Creek Montana--[ mostly about prehistoric past]
