Kistler Helium LTA...snapped
My favorite, a 7' MH baitcast Kistler LTA snapped Saturday.
On the hook-set it just popped with a loud SNAP two feet below the tip. There were no dings in this rod. I take care of my equipment. I wrote the company and I'm awaiting a response, but in reviewing their warranty it looks like I am SOL. That was an EXPENSIVE rod!!! Has anyone else had a rod snap like that? Anyone else deal with Kistler? How are they? Seems to me that when you spend that much for a rod they should exchange it out. At least for a minimal co-pay.
