Just a follow up on getting home. I finally finished the fish
processing yesterday. We ended up throwing the tent in the truck and getting out of camp while there was a couple minutes without rain. If you want to be on the first ferry, get in line about 3 AM. We left on Saturday on the 5:15 AM ferry. We couldn't believe it took almost 2 1/2 hours to get to the customs officer, and he spent about 20 seconds with us as we had our passports ready. I'm make a CD of the few photos that I took and put them in inter-office mail. I'm hoping the photo with Rolland's halibut came out, as I never took one. I had a good time and enjoyed the process of different groups making dinner. That brought about an evening of good stories. I need to get my trim tabs working again. They stopped working and left my boat at an odd angle when running on plane. After that I'd like to score some halibut, some Oregon halibut. I hope the trip home went well for all. Randy |
