Default Wader suspender repair

Like an Fn idiot I closed the hatch of my jeep without looking closely
and broke the female clip of the suspenders.:dizzy: They are a
pair of Simms if that matters. My question is someone told me that I
could get a replacement clip at an outdoor store like Campmoor. Will
that work or do I have to contact Simms for a replacement?

Any help will be much appreciated.
