Gotta say this is the earliest that I've caught fish here in northern
cornfield county (Angola, IN to those who don't know where I resides)
Temps in the 80's last two days and just couldn't resist giving it a shot.
Took the WaterSkeeter to a local smallish private lake and waving a 3 wt
flypole around vigorously, managed to ketch aforesaid bluegills and one
teenage bass who thought he weighed 5 pounds. All topwater hits on a foam
bug. (now back to the usual political bull****)

What kind of retrieve did you use?

bluegill belonged to? :-)

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ya probably used dynamite, you old geezer.

Nice report, Frank. Keep 'em coming.

And remember, I'll be in Maine from the last week in May until the end
of June. We gotta hitch up somewhere - me for bass, or you for
trout/salmon.

....I'm not sure what method you use for trout/salmon Dave, but I seem to
remember you wading(?) That being the case my lack of balance would not
allow me to do that in anything but damn near still water, otherwise,
using a boat of some kind would be OK. Me and my bone mechanic are still
trying to figger out why my right shoulder is painful all the time and
worse when I raise my arm (like, to cast, say) Xrays and MRI show nothing
obvious that would cause that. He's starting me on a course of arm
excersizes beginning this coming Monday and depending on outcome, will do
an arthroscopy to clean the joint out, that probably taking place in
early May. Should be good to go by June. Old age sucks...

....who sent flowers to five of my local lady friends this Easter,
figuring I had a one in five chance of getting laid. Nothing but kisses
so far. Now what to do with all that Viagra in the cupboard?

I hope they find out what is wrong. And, yeah, old age can suck what
with all the pains. d(

I have a boat and motor at the camp, so you don't need to wade; just
plop your ass down and the Pirate will make sure you catch some big
brookies and salmon.

Hey, take the Viagra, Frank - about 1/2 tablet. At least you won't pee
on your shoes anymore.

Sounds like a plan to me, we can swap contact numbers and lay the plans
when it gets closer fishin' time.
