Default Another chatter bait thread

Fished a senko [ my go to bait] yesterday afternoon with out a single bite-
not even a bluegill nibble. Threw a spinner bait ,shallow and deep cranks.
nothing So into the box of "won't catch a fish " lures and out comes the CB
..Third cast through tree limbs and a nice 2 1/2 bass slammed it. Really
knocked the fire outta it. Several casts later boated a short bass 14 1/2
inch but was hefty. Caught 3 more short fish on the CB before it got
dark. Also every one of the fished I caught was hooked in the top of the
mouth
Guess I have to rethink the CB
Ken
