Default Trailer wiring question

Hey bass fishermen. Recently I bought an old boat and trailer. The
previous owner cut the plug off the trailer's wiring harness, probably
out of frustration. The wires left have lots of nicks and bad places
showing so I imagine the guy had multiple problems with his trailer
lights. Is there an online site where I can buy the colored wires or a
harness so I can just start from scratch? I really don't think it would
be worth trying to fix up this wiring mess as it is now. Also, what
size wire is it, 16 gauge?

Thanks,
Buck

I think WalMart has the complete wiring stuff including lights. Any
auto parts place should also have it.

Online. JC Whitney I imagine.

Buck, look in the phone book for a company that sells small trailers.
Even better is one that makes them. Call or stop in and buy a
wiring/light set to fit your trailer. You might want to look at new
bearings at the same time.

Pep-Boys, Autozone, Checker, Harbor Freight should all have it. There is
probably one near you.
