ello all,
Does anyone know what waxworms are like as bait? I was looking at a site dealing in live pet foods and saw them. Anyone know what chub and barbel might make of 'em? Cheers, Mike. |

Every now and then someone comes up with the same question. We never hear any report - favourable or otherwise - so: Either they are a devastating bait and the few who use them have managed to keep them secret whilst cleaning up on the match circuit. or, more likely as they're a bit sluggish and not particularly juicy, they aren't particularly good. Chub and barbel -will- take a nice, lively, juicy, lob. If you try 'em, let us know how you get on.
