Default Posting and Replying Correctly

Having just returned to rofb recently, I am relearning the ins and outs of
correct rofb etiquette. Upon examining my last reply, my memory seems to
indicate that replies should be below (after) the post responded to. Is
there a way to get Outlook Express to automatically format and add the reply
beneath the post being responded to? OR, is it a matter of manually
keystroking so that the reply appears beneath the post?

Answer: Because it upsets the normal flow of the conversation.
Question: Why is top posting bad?

To be in a conversation with you must be really confusing. If you have
conversations where each time someone speaks, everyone in the
conversation repeats the entire conversation before someone replys. It
is better if you are following the conversation and if you forget what
was said, then ask that part over again.

Snip

Yup, Bottom posting and also snipping all the irrelevant parts of the
preceding quote makes it the only sensible way to do it. That's
because at times it may be days between posting and reading posts for
some of us. Snipping and just keeping the relevant parts allows a
review as you scroll down thus letting everyone know what you are
replying about/to.

Course some people refuse to do it that way.
