Default Um, wasn't she a little old to be sitting on her dad's lap...?

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...in-copenhagen/

Shades of Hillary ("I was named after Sir Edmund") Clinton...now, if she had
said she remembered sitting on her dad's lap watching George Poage win _his_
medals, it might have been different...well, even funnier, anyway...next stop,
Liverpool, where she announces that she was especially close to the Beatles -
she was even named after the song "Michelle My Belle"....

Sheesh,
R
....and apparently, she didn't steal it all that much...and her husband didn't do
much better - what, 15 minutes after he lands, the IOC thumbs their nose at
Chigago...

come on, let's view this rationally. You get to spend 10 days watching
a fine sporting event in one
of two locales:
Choice One--Rio, with occaisional breaks, lying on the beach and
enjoying the, um, scenery.

Choice Two--Chicago.

I don't care if Barack, Michelle, Oprah, and all the Beatles, living
and deceased, made the pitch.
You would have to be insane to choose Chicago.

Yeah, like Bill Bennett said on one of the cable talking head shows:

"I'm actually for Rio. In Rio, it's beautiful women at the beach,
and in Chicago, it's fat people eating."

What he said.

cool. Google will work as a cheap substitute, now that Verizon is
kaput for Usenet groups. I created that goofy nom de plume from
some foolishness in the past, no doubt involving Connor. BTW, it is
such a hoot to watch Mike Shaw parade through a
Mennonite food store wearing Wayno's "who the Hell are you calling
Dumbo" shirtg Just an aside, gleaned from our recent foray
to Penn's. BTW, Leadwing Coachman wets worked around Coburn. Looking
forward to the end of this month....big streamers for
migrating spawners!!

If all I had to access Usenet was Google Groups I'd quit accessing
Usenet. When Ameritech pulled the plug on Usenet I signed on to the
free nntp server news.eternal-september.org. Works fine for me, I
have my Thunderbird newsreader and my killfiles and it's free.

Bad form, Mr. Remailer. Please do not taunt the loony to crawl out
from under its rock.

The truth. Ya ever been to Rio? We have. Beautiful city with
beautiful beaches and people.

Chicago? Come on! What the hell does Chicago have except corrupt
politicians. IF Chicago got it, I'm willing to bet that the ChiTown
Grubbies would have their fingers in the till, and the games would go
down with billions of dollars lost.

Oh, hell, if it were a choice between Chicago and Apalachicola, FL., Chicago
would be SOL, overall atmosphere-wise...but that still leaves a 20-something
Y.O. Michelle sitting on her dad's lap watching Carl Lewis and a slap to Obama.
Blair went to the IOC meeting and got 'em for London '12, and Putin went and got
'em for Borschtingrad or wherever the hell they'll be in Russia '14, and Obama
couldn't even get at least a reach-around for his efforts (and please, the "oh,
his - and Michelle's - trip to Copenhagen had NOTHING to do with the
Olympics..." shtick is as silly as it sounds...).

Nah nah na naa hah.
Obama got elected.
Nah nah na naa hah.
Change is the new perspective
Get used to it

You guys pooped in your pants with war, war, cleptomania, stealing,
prostitutes, 23 in jail or under indictment and counting. torture and
war profiteering, shooting one another in the face, running the
country into the ditch, and pretending that you just loved the USA.
People voted your guys out because your team could not manage their
way out of a paper bag, not a one of them had a kid at risk, and they
could not keep their hands out of the till, or their toes from a-
tappen.

Now your heckling is about all your impotent ideology has left in its
disgusting worn out Gucci bag. Why not swear off booze for a month and
move aside so real Americans can reclaim the Republican Party from the
religious fanatics, and the Trotskyite Neocons who try to pass as real
conservatives. Your Bull**** reminds me of the German Conservatives of
the Weimar Republic: financing Hitler and his zoo who the
conservatives thought they could "control." Flirting with mob Facism
is dangerous. The Zookeepers get eaten first.

Uh-huh...you really REALLY got to be careful with them there Facists...the nest
thing you know, you've got Tyra Banks chunking a cell phone at you or
something...

Anyhoo...did you, by any chance, single-handedly take out the Kaiser and the
boche over the Danube, nearly naked and alone, with nothing but your trusty
Sopwith-CamelFokker, a blazing Tommy gun, and your sidekick best pal, Tom
Mix...?

TC,
R
....hey, if there's tunneling, why not channeling...?

OTOH, I had no idea that I even HAD a Gucci bag...oh, **** - would it not go
with my jackboots? IAC, you STILL haven't answered whether these "Tories"
you're all a-twitter about are Spelling, Amos, or ???

OTOOH - have you been smoking them there plants you're been yankin' up - to each
their own and all, but, Sarge, dude, we love ya, man, and maybe you ought to see
what the **** it is you're twisting up...

OTOOOH, swear off booze for a month....? **** YOU!!!

....I'd rather give up my Gucci bag...I'd probably give up Zookeeping, too, but
I've no friggin' idea what such has to do with this....anyhoo, when it comes to
the, um, facism, now we're back to the ol' comme ci comme ca...can I trade the
Zookeeping and the facism for two cases of single-malt, my choice, a player to
be named later, and a handful of Olympic pins from Rio....as long as I don't
have to have a page on facismbook...?
