My boat trailer electrical harness and the receptacle on my Ford have a lot
of green stuff on some of the connections. The connection is marginal. I recall that vinegar can clean this up, but I'm not sure. What is the best way to clean up these connections? Thanks from Rick |

I have heard of people using plain Coca-Cola in a pinch to remove the crud.

Once removed apply some dielectric grease to connections will help prevent some of the corrosions. Sarge |

Once all the corrosion is off (green stuff) I use a product called
"Corrosion X". Been using it for years, even spray it under the dash of my boat, the connectors of the t/m, and all the electronics connectors. In CA we fish all year and the winters are damp and cool and this product works great for protection. Good luck... sket |
