Default OT Shoulda went fishin'

Just got back from Busch Stadium where the friggin'
Cubs beat my Cardinals 6-5. At least I *think* I
was at Busch Stadium, maybe I was in Des Moines
watching synchronized swimming and I've never even
been to Busch Stadium. ;-)

My favorite Cub fan bailed at the last minute saying
it was too damn hot to watch a ball game in St. Louis.
Proving once again that my wife is *way* smarter than
me.

It was Busch Stadium. It was hot. "Great place. Really holds the heat."

Would have been better standing in the cool waters of a stocked spring
creek than to watch [arguably] the best team in baseball fall to the Cubs.

Fawn Lake is a myth designed to make tourons hike 14 miles while the
yellowstone local studs fish all the good stuff by the side of the road
(or even better, from a barstool).

It's a myth. Nothing but 5 acres of unfishable weeds
surrounded by marsh unless you get there at ice out.

Good. Glad I could be of help. I was by that art store a couple of
weeks ago doing some historical work for a friend who's ancestors are
from Hadley.

Fawn Lake: I believe Forty was at Fawn Lake but didn't want to
advertise it as a great place to fish. Everyone knows there's a Fawn
Lake; he just didn't want it to get very much attention. Too late
now, however. d;o)

Best to the beautiful woman; hope she is well.

Dave
