Yesterday afternoon I sat down to start reading "Let my people go Surfing"
by Yvon Chouinard. Starting with pitons, chocks and biners, I've been
buying things from 'him' since the late 60's or very early 70's. As a
Veryex-rock climber that has decayed into an obese and feeble minded fly
fisher I thought his story of continuing adventure into old age might be
interesting. As a person that turned a hobby into his business, I thought
the story of his business might be interesting.

I ended up finishing the book at one sitting. And "the Patagonia" story is
far more than merely interesting..... imho, this book ought to be required
reading in every business school, it ought to be required reading for
everyone that buys anything for any purpose, ... it ought to be required
reading !
