Comments on a line stripping basket.
I've never used one, but was thinking of purchasing a
collapsible line stripping basket.

I used one just like this when when we lived in NH for striper fishing
It was very good and easy to use

Tom, I have one very similar and I'm NOT very fond of it. I've only used
it Striper fishing and its hard to get the line into the basket when
stripping at the mega-fast rates they often seem to want. And it doesn't
prevent tangles as much as I would have hoped, either. Look into the dish
pan with cones type ... imho, they work better. For in a boat .... use
the floor, ah deck

Thanks for the feedback.
I have been coiling up the line in my left hand, making loops to feed out
on the river. Thought why not use a stripping basket but was a little
concerned about getting a tangled mess. Thought I asked the ROFFians
about it.
