Anyone who had casted these two rods give advise/review, on what is the difference. Lets say both are 4 weights. Thanks |

TKS,
The older, now discontinued, SP is a little softer/slower than the new SLT. The SP would be good for short to medium distances and great with extremely light (6x-7x) tippet. The SLT would be better in the wind and for distance. It would make a better all around trout rod because of the better casting performance. -- Bill Kiene Kiene's Fly Shop Sacramento, CA www.kiene.com "TKS" wrote in message ... What about the SP+? Is that faster or slower than the SP?
