These are very big questions. Most rivers on the Island are not open to
salmon fishing. Almost all the fishing takes place in October and November. The best rivers are the Stamp and Cowichan. rivers with successfull hatchery programs like the Big Qualicum and Nitnat will also have openings when the runs are at their peak. There is good fishing available right from shore from Cambell River South to parksville at certain times. Try enquiring here for better information. http://forum.fishbc.com/index.php?s=...&showf orum=2 -- there are no numbers in my email addy. Please remove to reply "Robik" wrote in message ... Someone is able to reply many question about fly fishing in Vancouver Island ? What is the best time for the four kinds of salmon ? What are the best rivers ? Where ? Thank's Roberto Ottanelli |
