Has anyone dealt with the new company?
I would appreciate comments on service and quality.

There was a bit of a problem for a week or two because they moved the
operation from New York to Pennsylvania. There was a apology from them
posted on FAOL and Rodbuilding site. But they seem to have their act
together now, and I can recommend them.

Not totally. I complained on FAOL because of the problems with an order
I placed with them in March. I took **** for complaining I think because
it is a sponsor. Posters went out of their way to praise the "new" Hook
and Hackle. The new owner sent me an apology email complaining about how
hard the move was etc. and said that he now has things under control.

Based on this email correspondence, I placed another order last Friday
and have received no email notification from them. Like my last order,
the website has said "Boxes need weighing" for several days (My past
order which I received MOST of is still listed as "No Shipment Set
(sic)") So obviously Ron hasn't got to the type of customer service that
I liked so much and took for granted before it was sold. With the past
owner, I probably would have had the order by now and definitely would
have been informed about its status. I don't think there is any excuse
for a lack of communication.
