Default Hook and Hackle sold

Hook and Hackle was recently sold. I hope the new owner handles the
business as well as Bob did. It was a great company to deal with, I hope
that continues.

Ordered stuff from Hook and Hackle over 3 weeks ago, still haven't
received it. Haven't been able to get a response to a couple emails
for status. Their phone rolls over to their answering service. Not
looking good.

"Splain" it to me, from the new owner(s) and I will feebly understand.
I figure there are phone folks and computer folks , there to help with
transition messages.
Just my 1/2 cent worth.

It's not as if it's difficult for their IT guy to send an autorespond
to every email asking people to wait patiently. It'd be an
unproductive answer, but an answer. You'd know your email was in
there somewhere.

Why I'll only buy second hand Old Town stuff these days. I had a
problem with some oars purchased through the Web site. Sent them an
email to the address given on their Web site. It might as well have
dropped into a black hole. Sent another email. Same nothing. Went
to my default position with such retailers. "Screw 'em. I'm gone."

Often taunted by trout. Almost entirely harmless.
Really.
