It's probably just the engineer in me, but I found this incredibly
funny.

Not worth .0023 of an hour of listening time, much less 23 minutes.

How's it turn out?

5 customer service reps and one manager insist that
0.002 cents == 0.002 dollars.

This is the age of the internet. Audio recording ends up
on youtube and a blog. Verizon is embarrassed into
giving a refund...still not sure anyone at Verizon understands
the difference between dollars and cents.

There is lots of talk about simple arithmetic and some
about multiples of 100 but I nowhere heard the key
word Denomination. The complainer never plainly said
the web site denominated the price in cents and the bill
denominated the price in dollars.

Umm, customer service reps can't comprehend the difference
between dollars and cents and you think they would comprehend
the 12 letter word Denomination?
