I have a couple of Lowrance Globemap 100 GPSs but never got software
or cable to download the waypoints to my computer. One of the hand held GPSs is almost at its limit. Anyone here have the software and cable they would like to sell, or know where I can get it? Cabellas and Bass Pro Shop say it is obsolete and don't carry it anymore. Thanks - may try that. I am bidding on the stuff on Ebay right now but
it includes the GPS - already have two, don't really need another. I think Jerry sent me some software several years ago but I can not find it. The cable was the problem - I may take the unit to Radio Shack and see what they can come up with. I guess any USB cable with a serial cable end to match the unit would work. W/ regard to software - take a look at Ozi-Explorer - it handles most GPS units and the price is right. I've got a Garmin Extrex - (can't help you w/ the cable), but Ozi-Explorer handles it very nicely w/ a USB to serial interface cable. I just looked at the version I have (3.90.3a - have had it for a couple years) - your Globemap 100 is one of the suppport units. It also has a setting for "Older Lowrance" and "Other Lowrance".
