Yeah, well, that Dougie.....he's got quite a sense of humor. Um......did he

Plus, I found a great parking place today with reasonably easy access

and...um...have you found a sufficient supply of boats for those of us
who are looking forward to being able to ride in a boat that we can get
into and out of the creek? Joe and I need a ride (well...joe seemed a
bit uncertain, so i'll let him speak for himself... but i'll need a ride
all around. wolf...are you drivin?

Yep, I'll be leaving here in the wee hours of Friday morning.....hoping to
show Chicago my ass no later than 4:00 a.m......and then wiggling through
the innards of the heartland via back roads. Probably spend the night
somewhere in eastern Ohio or western Pennsylvania and arrive in the environs
of Coburn at some unspecified time on Saturday.

jeff (who has no interest in Paris...but loves hot dogs with ketchup...
obviously, i pass the penns' bronzeback school of dunces entrance exam)

Actually, neither the Parisians nor the New Yawkers have anything to say
about the use of ketchup on hot dogs that is worth taking note of. The
world awaits a definitive answer from central Illinois. Doug?

While I agree that neither New Yorkers nor Parisians should be trusted
to have worthwhile opinions on hot dog condiments, you should know that
in Chicago, the only place on the planet where hot dogs occupy their
rightful place as middle-American haute cuisine, requesting ketchup is
to admit to being a person of limited intelligence and low breeding.

Yeah.....thanks, Dougie.

Um......you ever wonder what it's like to have an opinion you could call
your own?

What's the deal with the summer reruns already ?

Reruns of the same, lame old insults lack the "charm" and "entertainment
value" of your signature, knee-jerk nastiness.

Yeah, that's a fascinating opinion. Any idea whose it is?

I take full credit for describing your usual mode of Usenet communication
with the noun phrase "signature, knee-jerk nastiness", although I'd bet
that shiny new nickel I've just won that it could also be described as
"good post, many will agree."
