Just finished reading the latest book from William G. Tapply "Gone Fishing".

One chapter particularly worth the read deals with the eternal debate of if
you could have just so many flies, what would it be. Tis a good read and
would encourage others to buy it or get it from the library.

I've been perusing the used book stores in southern Michigan and have four
books on my table to get me through to Christmas and the next batch g

Schwiebert - "Rembrances of Rivers Past"
Tapply -"Opening Day and Other Neuroses"
Hill, Gene-"Passing a Good Time with Guns, Dogs, Fly Rods and Other Joys"
Peper & Rickhoff-"Hunting Moments of Truth"

What's on your list for the "off-season"?

Wayne

Just bought Wayne Cattenach's book on bamboo rod making. Maybe wishful
thinking at this point but I want to keep those ideas simmering on the
back burner.

Four? FOUR?

Man, good thing I've gone cold turkey on that habit.

Books. Feh.

Not all of us can say they have a university library at their personal
disposal there Bill. I am getting first crack at the estate of a gentleman
who recently passed away and his collection of books is being acquired by
one of the book stores so I might a few more to read soon.
