So, just how big of a durn fool would one be to spend a couple of days in
the vicinity of Robbinsville in winter trying to catch a few troutlings?
Say,.... oh...I don't know...what about the week betwixt Christmas and New
Years?

Hmmm..a I have to help my son drive a U-Haul to San Jose sometime around the
1st of the year, but depending on his schedule I may wander up that way.

You coming to the SJ in January?

bud, if you put your ass in the water in the snowbird drainage in late
december, we may not be takin' it out until early april...

'im talkin' *serious* icing on the line and guides.

why not drive 4 hours east, and spend a couple lost days with

yfitons
wayno (football, whisky, and renda mcrae speight)

county, nc.

That would be Robbinsville, as in Western North Carolina, might be a little
too far to tempt you..

Having never heard of Robbinsville (as hard as that might be for someone
from Graham County, wherever that is, to believe), I made the
connection: Danl lives in San Diego, San Jose (where Charlie's going) is
(probably) in the SF Bay Area. Aha! These "troutlings" Danl's talking
about might be wild, native trout, possibly even golden trout, somewhere
in the southern Sierras. That's hard to resist, even if they are puny.

So sue me. :-)
