G Loomis reel seats; Owners what you have?

Yes the metal ring only. Im looking right now at a picture, in the 2004
BPS Anglers Catalog, that is shown for the IMX the same type ring only
no hood.

I guess Ill ask the owner find out how long he has had it. I think
though for the reduced price it will still be a good rod. Better than
the GL2 rod I was looking at plus just $10 more.
