Lake Okeechobee Information

Thanks Moe... and it's good to hear you're still with us, even if just

Charles, don't believe everything you read or hear. Okeechobee is still
producing outstanding fish both in quanity and quality. Past 2 weekends
it took 30 plus pounds to win 2 local tournaments. The nay sayers have
been crying doom for 20 years now. Like all lakes, if we leave mother
nature alone, she will take care of herself. The lake was there long
before you and I and will be there long after. Okeechobee goes through
10 year cycles and may be on the backside of one now, but I promise you
--- on her worse days will bring a smile to your face. It may not be as
easy now to locate the fish for some fishermen, with the loss of some
grass but, believe me, they are still there.
