![]() "big fish 2005" wrote in message ... Well it happened again, just like last year I got skunked in the open memorial day tourney. I heard the winners caught their fish all by sight fishing. I only saw a few fish but couldn't get them to bite. Whats the best technique for catching fish holding on beds? I have another tournament wed. night and I'm sure they will be on beds. Oh! I'm in s/w lower michigan. I don't bed fish often, but when I do I've found that I do well with either a lightly weighted Texas Rigged Lizard or Craw. It helps too to use a light colored lure so that you can see when they pick it up. Often times, they'll do it so quickly that you don't feel the take. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |
