2 thoughts:
why not tie a low water style on whatever hook you have? That and use lots of Gink (or your favorite politically correct substitute). Second, Varivas was at the Denver trade show. They were always in business; just never got their distribution going, what with limited demand for 12X tippet and all. But they do appear to be back at places like Tulpehocken Creek Outfitters and the Little Lehigh Fly Shop. Maybe these folks can order hooks for you, even if they don't stock them. tl les |
