Does any reel manufacturer make a spinning reel that caters to braid?
I would think that an excessively active level wind would keep the angles of overlap greater and help keep the line from sinking/digging in. I remember seeing an ad once for a "slow level wind system" to keep the spool tidy, parallel and flat, but this seems the opposite of what is needed now... After a weekend of having my line bury itself into the spool and foul the cast, I might just be in the market. -- ----------------------- ------------------------------- Everyone can be best at something. You could be the best "worst example". |
