They are all great rivers with big wild brook trout. And, there are others if you know how to get to them, plus the Penobscot and Kennebec are a short drive away. Northern Maine with all of its native brook trout populations are not stocked nor is the St. John or the Alagash. It would take a lifetime to fish all those ponds and streams in that wild country.
