![]() A few years ago Orvis in their Fly Tying Catalog had a fly testing machine that cost around $75.00. It consisted of a small water tank and pump. From the looks of it, you would tie off a fly to some tippet and place the fly inside the tank and the flow of water you would be able to see how the fly reacts in relationship to the flow. I thought it was cool, and forgot about it for a while, when I went to purchase one, they no longer carried them. Does anyone out there know of some type of fly tester that you would be able to observe the movements of your fly under water? -- AKSkim *....
