The kid just missed it!
After being in second on day one, and day two, John finished third in
the U.S. Open on the final day....just 2l lbs. from winning a $150,000! But I am still a very proud Dad! Lake Mead is a tough lake to fish, especially with tenps in the 100 + degrees! I know he really was disappointed to not join the elite group that have won the Open two times....but there is always next year!  I am just happy to fish my little lake here....wish I could have "loaned" John the 4 lber I caught today .I hope everyone has a great time at Rienlander...wish I could have made it this year! John K
