Advice from the Experts Sought - Kerr Reservoir

I am in the correct forum for experts, right...... Been quite a while
since I've been on the list but now I need some help. I'll be fishing the
ABA Northeast Regional Championship on Kerr Reservoir October 3-4. Finally
have the time to fish one of these (Thank you, Lord). Unfortunately, I've
never fished Kerr Reservoir so I'm turning to you folks for advise. Just
jump on in there with any tips or tidbits of wisdom you might wish to share.
Looking for what to throw, when to throw, where to throw, tips on not
throwing up, good places to drink, etc....... I'm planning on going down
there and having myself an out and out blast and maybe even catching a few
fish while I'm there....... Thanks in advance for you generous help........
