![]() "Ken Fortenberry" I can't imagine why a dedicated midwestern fly fisher person would drive all the way to Piddle****, Pennsylvania to fish in the dark of the night during the last week of May or the first week of June. Hell, if we want to fish in the dark we can wait til mid-June when the Hex hatch. -- Ken Fortenberry Ken...I remember talking with Tom one afternoon by the stream and I was joking that fishing at Penn's was like taking a course in Flyfishing 101. but it is so much more than that...heck, I am lucky to catch a fish on those waters but when you do...it's freaking great....it's more like advanced fish 708! You cannot believe how ....how ... is the word 'fertile' those waters are.... If the fish are on...you can walk, wade splash and swim to your spot and there are still fish that never heard you.... If you have been there, pardon me for saying, but it is truly a gentleman's paradise. Lush verdant green canopy ferns paths clean friendly... and there is a lot more words to use with better descriptions. Like I said, I don't fish that good....but I truly enjoy being there. john |
