Been going around with assorted plastic boxes for my hooks. Most have the
snap-in dividers, which the hooks slide under. Also, small hooks have a tendency to get over the top into the next bin. On some advice, I explored my local crafts store. In the beading section, you can find great boxes for your hook storage. I found one from "Craft Mates" that is clear and has 14 double locking comparments (two rows of 7). There is the individual snap top for each compartment and and a bar that you have to push in on the side to open the top. These and a label maker and now I've got boxes for dries, wets, streamers (2X to 6X), nymph and specialty hooks. Nicely organized and very portable. Gonna use one for my bead heads (who woulda thunk of that). (no, I don't work for any craft stores or companies.) -- Frank Reid Reverse email to reply |
