That's just for the driver! 2 tru wedge = $500- $1,000. 2 more wedges
200, putter = $100+ and thats just the beginning! I was playing a round of golf with a few buds and mentioned I was going trouting for the weekend. They asked me to bring back some fresh trout and I had to tell them it was C & R. They for the life of them couldn't understand why I would fish and not keep em! Then the topic of equipment came up and were shocked to hear that a good flyrod cost 100 and up. I told them it was in my hand 4 or 5 hrs at a stretch and asked them what they paid for their drivers! Ya have a driver in your hand for about 20 minutes during a round of golf, use it for all of 2 minutes a round. Different perspectives i guess. Bill in Va. Heading for the Beaverkill in 3 days! Yippie!!!!! |
