In the U.S.A., you can't hunt with a full automatic weapon. Semi auto shotguns
are commonly used world wide for hunting. Semi auto rifles are less common, but
can be used in most states, but generally, only with limited capacity. (usually
five rounds)

A couple of other things, too. 1, for species such as dove, capacity is limited
to 3 total rounds, regardless of type of action, and 2, Semi-auto shotguns have
a place in that they are able to be used by those whose disability precludes the
effective or even safe use of a pump or a "break-open," plus the recoil _can_ be
less with the semi. With hunting regs, the type of gun is really just a matter
of preference as opposed to real advantage.
