Default Off the banks!

Yup...that counts
Hey...I didn't share my big catch last week.
Was about a 5-6 pound carp. My first ever...danged those things can fight!
Thank goodness I had fireline on our I definately would have lost him!
I have decided carp are a wonderful game fishing fish

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Your'e very welcome.
I just wished I had known about that lil toy so the northern folks would
have had something to play with during those cold winter months that's
fishing related.
Oh well.......

That made me think.... I said I haven't used a fish finder, but I guess
I kinda did.... in Trophy Bass 4.

Baitgal,

I agree!

I grew up in Iowa and we had a lot of back water ponds and sloughs off of
the river. In May, when the Sugar Maple seeds would land on the water, the
carp would cruise near the surface inhaling them. I used to tie a big
yellow popping bug on my fly rod and cast to the cruisers who would inhale
it without any hesitance. Talk about fun!!! Iowa bonefish.
