I'm an avid surf fisherman from Medford, Ma. who enjoys fishng on Plum
Island. Last summer I was thinking of joining a group untill I met some
members who were real winners. They were members of the MBBA. To hear
them talk, you think that they own the beach. One woman, Nancy, said
they have been members for many year's, and they have more rights than
anyone else on that beach. She went on to say that the management at the
Parker River National Wildlife Refuge look to her for advise. She went
on to say that they bend over backwards to satisfy her needs. I got the
impression that she makes all the rule's. I feel sorry for her husband.
He seemed to be henpecked. That was last June. Since then I, have made
several trips to the Island, but avioded them as much as possible.
Needless to say that me and several of my friends will not be joining
that group.
