It would be great if we could get some of the old time lurkers and posters
to finally make one of these things, such as Da Chief, Rich Z, and others.
Twice a year we have these "Classics" and It breaks my heart every time I
have to miss one. For those of you that's never attended one of the events,
let me tell you from past experiences that it'll become addictive to you.
I'd like to extend a welcome to each and everyone of you that even has the
slightest thought of coming to Center Hill, you'll never have so much fun
with a great bunch of people.

This is just a quick note to remind everyone that the official site for

the
2005 Mid-Tenn Classic has been changed from Hurricane Dock Resort, to

Edgar
Evins State Park. For those that haven't fished fished Center Hill, this
site is close to the dam, but also closest to most of the long creek arms
that could actually be thought of as a whole different lake. The creek
channels are long and deep, running in the 100' depths until you get near
the ends of the arms.

The run to the Hurricane Dock area isn't bad, and I made it in my old

Bomber
the first year. Believe me, if I can do it in that boat... anyone can do

it.
However, as you making that run, you are probably missing alot of fish in
the areas in-between.

I've received letters from RichZ, Jerry Barton, Steve Huber, Randy Lisk,
Joshuall, and a couple of other people willing to make donations or bring
items to be handed out for door prizes. I appreciate all the help
tremendously! I've picked up a couple of gift certificates from Bass Pro
Shops as well. As nice as these gifts are... we all know that the real

treat
is getting together with friends and forgetting about the troubles of the
outside world, if just for a few days.

If you are considering coming to this event and haven't signed up yet...

be
sure to do so. This will give us an idea as to how many people we can

expect
and divide gifts.

I've also talked Joe into extending the offer he previously made of

selling
SW spinnerbaits at Pro-Staff pricing. Afterall, the ROFB tournaments are
where I, as well as most of you others were introduced to them. Pro-Staff
pricing is only $5.00 (Mini-Kits), and if you want, and I'll bring them to
the tournament saving shipping costs. I'll probably get in trouble for

this,
but that aint nothing new. LOL Just e-mail me if you want further info...

Once we arrive at Edgar Evins, I'll set up a map of the lake so that if
anyone wants to, they can look it over, make copies or whatever. If anyone
wants me to pick them one up and bring it for them, let me know and I'll

get
them a copy and you can just pay me back when you get it. I don't remember
what they costs, but Ii think they're around $5.00. I'll also bring along

my
laptop and let you study the map on there if you like. I've got Fishing
Hotspots 4.0 loaded, and there's alot of information on there.

Reservations can also be made anytime, and the sooner the better. Info is

on
the web-site: http://www.midtennclassic.org and please mention rofb
tournament so they'll group us together.

I can't wait to get there... what about you?
