You might want to check out Winston WT series 6'6" and 7' 2wt and 3wt
rods.

Cortland also makes a nice 6'6" 3/4wt. I've taken mine out last year on
Devil's Hole Run and another sweet little stream that prefers to remain
anonymous, and the little rod was really a pleasure to use. I think it's a
good choice in the $120 price range.

Really though, IME, fiberglass has a better feel in the small sizes than
does graphite. My first "real" flyrod was a 7' Wright & McGill; I learned
to cast with that thing, and it's still a pretty nice litle rod, except for
the fact that, again IMO, 6wt is too heavy for a little rod. I also have a
7'9" Shakespeare "Wond0rod" [sic], that's a swell rod, but for the fact that
it's a 7wt. Good wooded lakeshore bass rod.

This summer I picked up on eBay a 7' 5wt South Bend Outdoorsman glass rod in
unused condition. Now I won't try to kid you that it's pretty like an Orvis
or a Winston rod; nobody's going to look at it and think you've got a job,
but boy let me tell you what, that little rod casts about as well as you
could like - any better and it would be unethical to use it.

Steffan Brothers sell blanks and completed fiberglass rods that are
well-spoken of on the glass rod ezboard. They have a 6' 2wt 2 piece blank
that's calling...
