Just that it's seemed to me to be common practice. I think it's helping dumb down the public, but it's not as if the president (or, it would seem much of the rest of the media) care what I think. Cannabalism was common in Melansia or thereabouts, too. I don't think that's a good thing, either. Brain parasites were the physical result. Bad news reporting has a similar metaphysical effect.
