![]() "tws" wrote in message ups.com... thanks charles and dan... yeah... i was plannin' on using pipes. especially since the commercial truck racks cost up to six hundred dollars! nothing i've found commercially will fit. basically i need to mount to the bed rail brackets fore and aft, then extend outward an inch or two to clear my canopy go up about 25 inches then i'll be in a position to mount a cross pipe (with pvc tube slide over it) to the uprights. it's a real pain in the arse... so far. will look at junk yards this week. thanks again. tws You can buy short rain gutter brackets at most camper dealers. Is a coated steel bracket that works like a rain gutter to attach racks to the shell. Eide products makes powered and unpowered racks for all models of trucks / campers. Bill |
