Default John Day River Clave

I am seeking updates on those of you who want to float (if there is enough
water) the John Day River this summer. With everyone's input and a look at
the weather prognosticators, how about the last week in May as a suggested
timeframe for this clave?

Chris 'please email me (no changes necessary) with your level of commitment
and your dates of availability...

I'll be in and around DC the 22nd-28th of May (Virginia, but inside the
beltway). A long weekend prior would work (13th-16th), but later would get
jammed in more work. I suspect you will want to make an earlier trip
anyway. As you know, the drift boat is sold, and I'd be on a solo pontoon.

I'm stuck in Wisconsin at a wedding that first weekend, a week or two
earlier might work for me.

May is looking pretty tough for me...

A buddies tournament partner is busy the third weekend in May, so I will be
standing in to fish a Walleye Tourney that weekend and I will be leaving for
Alaska the last week of May into the first week of June.

Pack a 4 wt with your tux. You won't need waders

Might conflict with the stonefly hatch on the Deschutes.
